Hello, I'm Helena!

I work as a special education teacher, and in my free time I illustrate and teach after-school art classes for elementary and middle school students.

I love drawing cute and weird creatures and characters in their their everyday lives. Inspiration comes often from nature, music, fantasy literature and mythology.
I enjoy experimenting with different materials, learning and practising new techniques and bringing my ideas to life. When it comes to illustrations, I prefer traditional media, especially watercolour, ink and coloured pencils.

Each of my illustrations start with an idea that comes from me or a client. I draw or paint it by hand on paper, then scan it and make digital adjustments when needed. The entire creative process, from the initial idea to the finished piece, is my own work and is done without the use of AI.

Although I'm based in Estonia, I'm also open to working on international projects remotely.
